An individualized approach means identifying the root cause of your discomfort and using a variety of care options tailored to your needs and treatment goals.
From rehab and exercise training to focused massage, Dr. Blake Testa offers thorough attention and well rounded techniques to get you moving better.
Spinal & Extremity Adjustments
Full body approach. Head to toe, hand to heel, we’ve got you covered.
Joint manipulation is an important piece of improving mobility and alleviating discomfort, however it is not the sole focus of our sessions together.
Corrective & Rehabilitative Exercises
Typical sessions will include recommended self care; exercises, stretches or tools that compliment your treatment plan and help address the fundamental problem.
We also offer stand alone exercise and training sessions for a more robust and individualized approach.
This component of your care will help your treatment last longer and provide more stability for long term wellness.
Soft Tissue Manipulation
Routine sessions allow time for soft tissue manipulation to help alleviate pain and support an adjustment.
Extended sessions provide more time for additional soft tissue work or more focus in an area.
Myofascial Cupping
Silicone or glass cups are used to create negative pressure, or suction, on the skin to manipulate muscle and fascial tissue. This helps promote better tissue elasticity, improve joint range of motion as well as create a healthy vascular response from the body; aiding with tissue healing after an injury.
Tissue Scraping
Soft tissues are manipulated with specific tools made of stone or metal to reduce fascial adhesions. This also promotes healthy elasticity and nurtures the natural healing response from the body.
Focused Massage
Soft tissue manipulation in combination with passive and/or active stretching. We use a variety of techniques to help alleviate pain, improve ranges of motion and help support the effect of an adjustment.
TMJ Release
Intra-oral massage to the muscles of the jaw can help alleviate some varieties of tension headaches, jaw aches from clenching, and help to promote more even tracking.
